This is just a simple implementation of the Google Maps API.
I've added a WMS layer, 'Landcover' which is a USGS landcover map of the US.
The controls work the same way they do in Google Maps.
I'll be adding more stuff when I have time (markers, info windows, sidebars, etc.). I don't really know JavaScript that well but I'm figuring it out.
One other cool thing I did was changed the overview map so it is always the normal map. I like that better than the default behavior.
